Beaumond House Community Hospice is asking you to Be Bright Blue during Hospice Care Week from 9th to 15th October to raise funds for necessary equipment.

** It is with great regret, that following a Health & Safety meeting held on the show site at midday, the 2017 Ploughing Match and show has been cancelled, due to factors beyond our control. The decision has had to be made despite the show field being fully prepared but the car parking has been deemed unfit. Please do not email the office, all refunds will be made but please allow us a few weeks to process.**

The increasing popularity of the Southwell Music Festival, which took place over the August bank holiday weekend, is music to the ears of festival organisers.

Plans are underway for this year's Bramley Festival taking place on Saturday 21st October.

In January the Derek Bailey Foundation was in the process of organising the logistics of building three new classrooms onto the school in Nyofelleh in The Gambia that we have built in the last 25 years. This gives basic primary education to almost 700 pupils who are taught in two halves, 350 in the morning and 350 in the afternoon.
