After the huge success of The Nottingham Cook Book, Meze Publishing are thrilled to announce that they have launched second helpings!

Flower Pod, part of Reach Learning Disability are very excited to announce that Christine Walkden will be hosting a lecture at NTU in March, in aid of Flower Pod. Christine is well known for her helpful (and sometimes outspoken) guidance on Gardeners' Question Time, for a wide range of TV programmes (e.g. Christine's Garden, Gardens from the Air) and for her frequent contributions to The One Show.

In what was a fantastic end to a successful year, Reach raised an amazing £27,120 for their Big Give Christmas Challenge appeal, Not Lonely this Christmas!

Every summer, Chernobyl Children's Lifeline helps different children from Belarus who live in the area that suffered from the nuclear disaster. The charity provides a respite from the continued strain of living in that environment. This year, the children will be visiting the local area from Saturday 28th July, returning home on Saturday 18th August.

Following on from their award winning production of Billy Elliot last year, over 70 students and staff from the Minster School have been working incredibly hard since September to prepare for their school production of Into The Woods, under the direction of Mrs Chapman.
