Wind in the Willows

Thursday, 26th October 2017 : 7.30pm

Since it was first published in 1908, Kenneth Grahame’s classic tale, The Wind in the Willows has never been out of print, and this October the Burton Joyce Players will be performing a magical celebration of the antics of Mole, Ratty, Toad and all the other animals in a musical adaptation of this wonderful children’s story. At the time of writing, rehearsals are going really well. The main actors are getting to grips with their lines and the chorus is in fine voice. Toad’s car has been made, filming is almost complete for the projection sequences, sound effects are being sourced and work will soon begin on scenery painting. The Wind in the Willows is on at Burton Joyce Village Hall, from Thursday 26th to Saturday 28th October at 7.30pm. Matinee performance at 2.30pm on Saturday 28th Oct. All tickets are £8 and on sale from Delights, Main Street, Burton Joyce or The Book Case, 50 Main Street, Lowdham. Also available online at:
