The opening meeting of the new season for the Nottingham Cricket Lovers’ Society will be held in the Long Room at Trent Bridge at 7.30 pm on Thursday 5th October when the guest speaker will be The Rt. Hon. Kenneth Clarke, former President of the club and MP for Rushcliffe. He will speak about his life-long love of cricket. There is an excellent list of speakers during the season, including Notts legends, Derek Randall and Tim Robinson, former England Test players Neil Mallender and Alan Butcher, and England and British Lions rugby star, Rob Andrew. All are welcome and membership for the season at just £10 can be taken out at the first meeting.
