Summer Theatre Workshops!

The Nearly Instant Theatre Session is excited to be returning for annual summer workshop. For its 26th year, the Theatre Group is ‘Going Dutch’. A group of gangsters has frightening plans for Holland. Who will save the bulb farmers and the windmills? What will happen to the canals? Will Holland cease to exist at all? All the work is devised by the children and Drama Leaders to produce an original musical play in a week. As well as teaching theatre skills the work is designed to raise self-confidence. A professional musician and choreographer also work on the production and the sessions are suitable for experienced performers as well as newcomers. Most of all the sessions are fun, an enjoyable way to spend part of the summer holidays.   Taking place from Mon 31st July to Fri 4th August at the Magnus Academy in Newark, priced £90 for the week. The week concludes with performances on the Friday at 3.30 and 6pm. Children will need to bring a packed lunch and drinks and confectionery will be on sale.
