LIVE MUSIC, treasure trails, extreme sports, interactive workshops and plenty of great British food will be on offer for families this May at Nottinghamshire County Show.
The much loved show returns for its 133rd year at Newark Showground on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May and the organisers of the show are inviting families to pre-book tickets to the popular annual event and prepare for a fun-filled weekend.

Jayne Olney, show manager said: "Every year the show grows in size and diversity and we look forward to welcoming visitors in May for a full two days of jam-packed fun.
"It takes months and months of coordination to ensure we offer guests a day to remember and it continues to get better every year with both local and national traders and entertainment."

Ranging from a brand new educational treasure trail being introduced for children to BMX Flatland, which involves a mix of bike breakdancing and an array of incredible tricks, there is indoor and outdoor fun for all.

All ages will enjoy Inspire Shows, showing agility, body power and strength as they co-ordinate a free running routine in the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall with runners flipping and leaping through the air - across any obstacle in their path.

The food offering is fantastically varied with chefs raising the profile of quality British food as part of the Food Experience zone ensuring everyone will find something tasty to eat.

There will also be a range of local stalls who will be promoting farming, food, rural life and heritage in Nottingham and beyond. The showground will be filled with the sound of music as the music marquee returns with jazz quintets, ukulele bands and much more.

Tickets cost £15 on the gates or £10 for advance tickets online. Under 17s go free and parking is free.
