It's been a superb summer at Southwell Preschool. Term finished in glorious sunshine with a wonderful Sports Day. Great fun was had and all events took place with great sportsmanship and camaraderie.

The great weather continued into the school holidays for the three weeks we ran Holiday Club. It was a resounding success with a lovely age range of children from 2 – 8 who enjoyed lots of fun activities. Each week we had a different and diverse theme including the Commonwealth Games, Dinosaurs and finally the creation of the new resort of Southwell-on-Sea. Crafting went into overdrive as the children proved their artistic mettle with creations of Commonwealth medals and trophies, wonderfully decorated dinosaur biscuits and most impressively, a volcano made from an upturned ice-cream cornet with lava coloured icing set in a sea of Angel Delight. We must also thank the kind donation of an oven from some Preschool parents which allowed the creation of some well-baked biscuits now and for many Preschool years to come.

Now the new term has started we are welcoming all the new starters. There are still a few places available, so feel free to contact us at anytime to find out more.
Southwell Preschool operates on a sessional basis from 9.15am to 12.15pm. We also have four lunch clubs ending at 1.15pm and two afternoon sessions ending at 2.45pm.
