Southwell has enjoyed a successful season so far on and off the rugby field. The 1st team, led be captain John Latham, is now through to the semi-finals of the County Cup and Saturday fixtures have also seen good results with seven wins from eight games.

The Club is pleased to have Conrad Hunt back from Nottingham and he is having a good season as scrum half for Southwell. Two of our players, Dave Thompson and Bill Radley have represented the club at under 23 county level. In addition, we have been able to start a fifth team as a result of increasing membership and this team beat Keyworth 4ths on their first outing.

Our new pitch is now being played which gives the club three pitches in all and the work on floodlighting for the new one should be completed by next season.
